Natura 2000 sites

Natura 2000 is the main instrument of the European Union's policy for the conservation of biodiversity. It is an ecological network spread throughout the territory of the Union, established under Directive 92/43/EEC "Habitats" to ensure the long-term maintenance of natural habitats and species of flora and fauna threatened or rare at Community level. This dataset was used by Helsingborg municipality to identifies protected ecological zones.
